Alpha Kappa Psi: Public Relations Chair
I promoted Fraternity values through designing posts for the AKPsi Instagram about upcoming events, member’s success, and our involvement in New Orleans and Tulane. This includes Instagram story posts to highlight on campus Brothers, Abroad Brothers and birthdays. Here are some of the templates I created using Canva.
AKPsi: Black History Month Carousel Post
For Black History Month, our Fraternity wanted to highlight local New Orleans black owned business and black brothers in our fraternity. So, I created a carousel post using Canva with selected Black Owned business and included the research I did on each wonderful business. I focused on connecting our followers with theses business and sharing their business models to entice more costumers. As a Fraternity we wanted to use our platform to share these local businesses.
AKPsi: Brother Shoutout Posts
To share our Brother's success in and out of AKPsi, I posted bi-weekly Brother Shoutout Posts on Instagram. I created this post idea to highlight Brothers and our Fraternity's core values. The post includes their academics, involvements, a personal statement, and personal LinkedIn link. Other Brothers and Instagram followers could then connect and support our Fraternity. It was successful at reaching new followers and increasing interaction with our Instagram.

Design Symposium: Marketing Chair
I worked with the other Marketing Chairs to design promotional graphics corresponding with the Design Symposium theme: Future Form. I created this "Introducing the Team" story post for the Instagram to entice Tulane Community attendance. I used Canva and Figma to create this post.
Swim4Success: Public Relations Chair
I coordinate with 11 club leaders to design Canva graphics to promote community wellness and water safety in New Orleans. Then, I create weekly newsletters on Canva to communicate upcoming weekly swim lessons and events to over 300 followers on Instagram. On the left is the updated newsletter format, and on the right was my original newsletter.
