I am a self-taught artist from Charlotte, NC, pursuing a dual degree majoring in Design and Economics and minoring in Architecture at Tulane University. I began creating art at a young age, and in 2022, my award-winning piece "I Piece Myself Together" was featured on a billboard in Charlotte.
For eight years, I was a competitive swimmer at the number 1 club in the nation and was ranked 16th in SC for my graduating class. I have used this intense dedication to fuel my studies at Tulane. I allow my passion for art, problem-solving, and design accessibility to guide my diverse course load. After facing chronic health struggles in college, I found myself interested in data design and research in art therapy in which I am in the process of publishing my finding. I have found passion in my studies and research by utilizing my differences through the power of creating. I hope to continue advocating for accessibility of learning differences and chronic health issues while promoting the importance of human-centered design in my future job. I truly believe that design is everywhere, and in everything. We need to open the world to the power of creating.
